Boomer, I think the Nagari must have handled pretty well, given its success in local production sports car racing in the 1970s. However, having spoken to some former Nagari racers of that era, they said it lacked a bit of directional stability and could be quite twitchy at high speeds because its wheelbase was relatively short compared to its track width. The guys who raced the coupe versions also remembered how incredibly hot they could get inside, with limited cabin ventilation and massive heat soak through the fiberglass body from big V8 exhaust extractors on each side of the engine. That's why top guns like Steve Webb and Ross Bond switched to roadster bodies, which instantly fixed the problem!
