Well, if you ask me, I love both the Trans Am and Sally Field, of whom is very cute and attractive in the film. And speaking as a fan of said actress (of whom I discovered in the 1960s show Gidget, Field's acting debut), I'm really glad she was chosen to play the main female character Carrie, alias "Frog". Smokey and the Bandit just wouldn't be the same without her (and the Trans Am for that matter, of which she gets to drive at one point in the film).
