As Retro has highlighted, the LC-LJ Torana also provided the starting point for some fantastic competition cars. I reckon my favourite would have to be Bob Jane's Improved Production/Sports Sedan, built by John Sheppard with minimum weight and a Repco-Brabham 4.4 litre fuel-injected V8 up front. It was beautifully made and so damn fast!
