Can't believe I forgot to mention one of my all time favourite British cars - the Mk 1 Ford Capri RS3100. Always been a Capri fan, particularly the original Mk1 V6 models, so the rare RS3100 is right up there on my hit list. These cars were homologation specials built to serve as the road-going production basis for the full-house Group 2 versions that competed in the 1974 European Touring Car Championship. Ford only built 250 of them (the minimum number required for homologation) with unique front and rear spoilers and the big 3091cc Essex V6 among other niceties. A great piece of UK motoring history.
