Yes JW, I have quite an affection for (pre-GM) Saab cars, particularly the early models which as you point out did so well in rallying events. I was also fortunate to have been employed by Peter Janson in the early 1980s, when he was a 'brand ambassador' for Saab Australia. Part of that deal was taking delivery of one of 12 super-rare factory-approved 900 Turbo 'Enduros' only available in Australia. The Enduro featured numerous local performance mods including a wild body kit manufactured by Purvis Cars (of Eureka fame). I drove that car often and it was a superb package, sort of like a 'special vehicles' version of the 900 Turbo. I don't know what happened to Janson's one but it was always driven very hard as you can imagine! PJ was an excellent steerer. These jiggers are super rare and collectable today, if you can find one (click on the image to see the whole car).
