I had not thought of the Opel from the angle as a Fairlane equivalent Motown1, but now I do it would have meant the Opel, if it had been sold here, being positioned above the HD Premier. In fact, it is approximately the same dimensions as a mid-60s V8 Rambler Classic 770, which was a favourite with police and government back then and many buyers looking for something smaller that a full sized yank tank, but bigger than a Valiant/Falcon/Holden.
