The Hume in 1956 somewhere in Victoria, and the result of a car running into the back of a truck, again on the Hume at Donnybrook. This was before regulations led to trucks having safety bars at the rear to prevent this sort of horrific scene. Cars like Spridgets and Spitfires ended well under the tray slamming into the differential.
