BentleyT that's a great cover of the FB Holden prototype you have added. Thanks. And Freeway64, I'm blown away by the September 1954 MM cover with the Customline in the Redex Trial. It looks so 21st century in design and technique. Also, BentleyT, I did a feature story on GM's dramatic re-styling of the 1959 range in the June 2018 edition of Retroautos, and referenced the discovery of the '57 Chryslers in July/August 1956 and who saw them. By mid-1957 GM had largely settled on the shape of the '59s, which is why Pinninfarina was able to shape the XP75 so closely in style to the mainstream GM cars, as he had access to that secret information. I've attached an image of what the '59 Chevrolet might have looked like if not for the re-style.
