My Dad actually purchased and raced the No. 48 Lee - Gates RX3 in the early 80's in selected ATCC and endurance rounds. Whilst he was on a shoestring budget it sure held its own. At one Calder park round against all the big guns he qualified inside the top 10. The little giant killer loved the Calder short track they ran at that time.
