This was taken of the showroom display of Tasman Motors, somewhere in New Zealand. Nice new EJ Prem with the signs behind saying it was a 'Gilt Edged Investment'. If you had Overseas Funds - i.e. if you sold your wool or wheat overseas, it meant that less money was going out of NZ to pay for imports. One of the reasons why there were so many luxury cars in New Zealand because wealthy farmers could afford them. The sign next to it must have been referring to the Special, as it refers to the 'Life-Long Jeweltone Elascofab Upholstery' - something that the Premier didn't have.
