You are right about the Consul Classic, tynebank. A worthwhile subject of a future Retroautos story. Here's a photo of one of the design ideas for the original Falcon. Called L'Avion, it was given serious consideration as a Falcon and even appeared on the cover of Motor Trend magazine. The UK used the shape as the basis for the Anglia and Consul Classic.
