Not a model, but..................... I have been able to get my grubby little hands on a numbered print of the first Australian to drive in a European F1 Grand Prix - Tony Gaze driving an HWM in the Belgian GP of 1952. It now has pride of place on the wall of my den. Gaze was an ace WW2 Spitfire fighter pilot ( awarded 3 DFCs ). After the war, Brooklands having closed, he was instrumental in convincing the Duke of Richmond that the perimeter road around the Westhampnet fighter airfield on the grounds of his Goodwood Estate would make a great race track. And the rest is history.
