Yes JW, sadly such wonderful classics deserving of appreciative homes are going to find it increasingly hard to attract buyers, as the early boomers (for which these cars hold the most nostalgic/emotive appeal) inevitably succumb to illness and old age. Cars of this age are gradually joining the ranks of pre-war classics, which suffer the same age-related issues in terms of desirability. I do worry where cars like this superb AS and many others of its era will end up, after "slipping through the cracks" as you say.
