Every time I hear someone mention a 2.5 litre Riley I think of my poor far distant relation Len. Len was a batchelor and lived on a family property in the backwoods up near Kyogle in Northern NSW. Len became the proud owner of a brand new Riley 2.5 and was the envy of his neighbours. With the worst roads in Australia in his district, bad choice of car Len. After about eighteen months the big Riley virtually fell to bits. Len became a bit of a joke and suffered a serious breakdown from which he never fully recovered.
