John she was really beautiful, & great to sail. She was very fast too, particularly in light airs, when most cruising yachts go no where. That did lead to a couple of fast rough passages, where I would have liked to go a bit slower for comfort sake, but made her a dream in the doldrums up around Rabaul. A couple of photos of her, one as she arrived in OZ, I did make a few changes, & one on the hard getting antifouled beside the small ships wharf in Gladstone. As you can see, she was fast, & easily driven. The top harbour racing people all went ocean racing, leaving a number of yachts like her for sale, with no one wanting them. Lucky me was looking for something fast right then, & got her for a song.
