Couldn't agree more trombonista, particularly the oh-so-sleek and sexy Torana GTR-X in 1970. That car was so close to being production-ready GM-H even produced technical books and sales material. It was supposed to replace the Monaro as Holden's new 'halo' model but the overwhelming success of the LC Torana GTR XU-1 ensured the GTR-X was no longer required. Even though it was killed off, it changed the way Australia perceived Holden after that.
