The 28.4 litre Fiat S76 (Beast of Turin) of 1911 was entirely defined by the engine as all the Edwardian leviathans were. The car was designed around the motor which dictated every other aspect, especially its tall upright stance. Some vestigial body work and a couple of chairs to sit on were more likely an annoyance to the designers who were only focused on seizing the land speed record held by the Blitzen Benz. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bsdWgmp4TaQ
