From what I can research, American Motors were one of the first to link with a fashion label. They started in 1972 with their Gucci interior for the Hornet Sports wagon. Then they released a Pierre Cardin interior pack in the Javelin. In 1973 they teamed with Oleg Cassini on the 1974 Matador for interior and exterior design.
