Oh yeah. Easy one for me. I've always been a fan of the Ford Capri. Back in the 1980s I hand-built a fully road-legal V8 version from an unloved Mark 1 four cylinder model using a 302cid Windsor V8, single-rail Borg Warner four-speed and V6 rear axle assembly. That was a fun car but what I really wanted was to do the same with the gorgeous Mark III model, which was never sold here but allowed to compete in Group C touring car racing under the FIA Group One rules. I reckon the Mark III Capri is one of the best-looking Fords ever, but if I could have one with a hot 289/302 Windsor V8, Tremec six-speed, multi-link coil spring live rear axle and a huge disc brake on each corner it would be ideal.
