Needless to say, fantastic images and descriptions guys. This is one of the most interesting Forum posts we've done at the Shannons Club. Please keep 'em coming!
OK, MarkO - here's one from Cotton Tree in Queensland taken in the '50s. The car is a British Ford Model C or CX made between 1935 and 1937. Note the water bag over the spare wheel; there's probably another one on the front bumper, but no front number plate. Ubiquitous enamel sign for the Commonwealth Savings Bank, now a thing of the past. Pop's just about to light up another durry and Mum looks like she's in some kind of uniform. Cotton Tree is now part of Maroochydore on the Sunshine Coast.
