I cannot understand though why this has yet to be raised by the media and the motoring journos. Is it because they have no idea of the reality, have not thought deeply enough about it, don't think it's a story worth telling, have been told by their editors to leave it alone or maybe they enjoy certain "benefits" from the manufacturers and don't want to have their seat at the dinner table given to someone else? I would have thought it was a huge story to tell. Just like the fact that Australia has less than 23 days of fuel stocks instead of the 90 days required by agreement. These are BIG stories yet they never, or at least rarely and very quietly, get told. as they used to say on Rowan and Martins Laugh in; "Very interesting, but shtupid!"
