David, it's interesting you mention a "1970 VG Valiant Regal 770 hardtop with the 2 barrel 'hemi' six" because that's a car close to my cruising heart. I owned a 1969 VF Valiant Regal 770 Hardtop with the 318cid 'Fireball' V8 and Torqueflite auto with factory console floor-shift. I well remember cruising on balmy summer nights in Sydney, with the side glass dropped for the full pillarless effect and hearing the burble of one of Chrysler's finest small-block V8s. However, one of my dream drives is Arizona because of that iconic hit by The Eagles called 'Take it easy'. There's two lines in that song that paint a great word picture for me: "I was standing on a corner in Winslow, Arizona, such a fine sight to see, it's a girl my lord in a flat-bed Ford slowing down to take a look at me." I always thought that was so cool, hitching a ride with a chick driving a flat-bed Ford through Arizona on the old Route 66. The attached artwork shows another Eagles fan thought those lyrics were worthy of more than just a word picture too. That shop front is actually a huge painted mural 'on a corner in Winslow, Arizona' which is so realistic it looks like the permanently-parked 'flat-bed Ford' is being reflected in the store windows. Cool huh?
