This is the BMC dealer at Walla Walla, a town about 40 kms north of Albury. It is a typical example of a small dealer in a small town - petrol pumps outside, a showroom big enough for one or two cars only and plenty of advertising of non-automotive products. Check the variety: chain saws, lawn mowers, gas, farm machinery, bicycles and tractors. On the footpath is a BMC Used Cars metal sign which spun in the wind. Taken around 1967 judging from the poster in the window. These towns supported dealers of most makes - now it is doubtful whether there is any dealership closer than Albury in this case. All gone....
