I'm with Dr John. We've lost too many tracks--speedways, dragways and road racing--to urban sprawl and all that comes with it. Unless motoring enthusiasts make their views known then tracks such as Lakeside will continue to be threatened. Writing to politicians at all levels (council, state and federal), especially with a state election due next year in Queensland, is a good way to get their attention. If not, here's the sign that will go up once the bulldozers have finished. This sign was erected where Liverpool Raceway once stood. It was taken 30 years ago.
