This 1/43 scale gem from Trax depicts the uniquely Australian conversion of the popular ZD Fairlane to ambulance duties. The long wheelbase Fairlane was a logical donor vehicle at the time for a variety of companies that would carry out ambulance conversion. Fitted with either the 302 or 351 Ford V8, these Fairlanes provided the power and size for ambulance duties, while still maintaining some of their characteristic road holding qualities to handle local conditions.
