Shannons is extremely proud to present Round 1 of the Shannons Motorsport Australia Championship, scheduled to run at Phillip Island 19-21 February 2021.

Incorporating the Australian All Wheels Race Fest, the weekend will include a diverse range of racing on both four wheels and two, heralding the much-anticipated return of competitive motorsport to the historic Island racetrack.

After a challenging 2020, we’re excited to see competitive, spectator-friendly motorsport return to Victoria. With categories including the VHT Motorsport Australia S5000 Championship, GT World Challenge Australia powered by AWS and Motorsport Australia TransAm series covering off open wheelers, exotic Europeans and late-model American muscle, Shannons has your entertainment covered.

Add to that the highly competitive Porsche Michelin Sprint Challenge and the Supercheap Auto TCR Australia touring car series, you’ve got a weekend well worth looking forward to.

While familiar, ex-Supercars names such as Moffat, Holdsworth and Macrow battle it out on four wheels, several categories of motorcycle will hit the track to fly the two-wheeled flag. As the venue of the Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix since 1997, Phillip Island ’s motorcycle heritage runs deep, with the February weekend showcasing the Kawasaki Superbikes, Motorsport TV Supersports, YMI Supersport 300 and bLU cRU Oceania Junior Cup.

If you can’t make it to Phillip Island next month, have no fear as the Shannons Motorsport Australia Championships will be running at various other tracks around the country. Make a spot in the diary for:

Round 1: Australian All Wheels Race Fest, Phillip Island, Victoria, 19-21 February

Round 2: Bathurst 6 Hour, Mount Panorama, NSW, 2-4 April

Round 3: Sydney Motorsport Park, Eastern Creek, NSW, 1-2 May

Round 4: Morgan Park, Queensland, 25-27 June

Round 5: Sandown International Raceway, Victoria, 17-19 September

Round 6: The Bend Motorsport Park, SA, 15-17 October

It’s great to see some motorsport back in Victoria for Round 1 of the Shannons Motorsport Australia Championships and we hope to see you at the track.
