Shannons Auto Caffeine May 2022: Brisbane - Sydney - Melbourne
This coming Saturday 14 May, Shannons is hosting the second Auto Caffeine meet at our Brisbane, Melbourne, and Sydney Auctions showrooms. If you’ve got a special car or bike, bring it along and share the passion with us!
Encouraged by the success of February’s inaugural Auto Caffeine event, we are again holding the informal meet as precursor to the latest Shannons auction. Naturally, we’ll throw open the doors of our Auctions showrooms for Auto Caffeine participants to have a browse; this way, you’re guaranteed to see a car or bike you’ve never seen before.
The 2022 Shannons Autumn Time Online Auction features tonnes of amazing lots in every showroom across the Eastern seaboard, including a late-build 2017 HSV Maloo GTS-R in Sydney, an XR Falcon GT in Brisbane and a genuine LH Torana SLR5000 L34 at our Melbourne facility.
From the Continent and surrounds we’ve got a beautiful ‘series 1.5’ E-type Jag, an early ‘bay window low-light’ VW Kombi and a mighty Lamborghini Diablo GTR, number four of just 30 built.
Japan, the UK and the USA are all equally represented, as are motorcycles with everything from a 1949 Vincent HRD Rapide down to a Daisy Yellow Honda Motocompo folding scooter, designed to fit in the boot of a Honda City hatchback.
Auto Caffeine is about cool cars and beautiful bikes in a relaxed, ‘cars & coffee’ atmosphere. There are no caveats on what you can and can’t bring, just so long as people like you would enjoy checking it out and chatting about it.
Our first tri-state event brought out sweet vehicles across the nation, including a million-dollar Porsche Carrera GT and a Ferrari F40 recreation that, amazingly, was built out of a genuine Ferrari 308GTB. Like our auction lots, you can expect plenty of everything; Aussie, American, Euro, cars, bikes and whatever else people dare to bring.
Australian racing driver, John Bowe will be in attendance at the Melbourne showroom and available for signing and photo opportunities.
