Shannons ‘Best Bike Yarn’ Competition at The Machine Show – March 29-31

20 February 2019

The Machine Show isn’t a standard motorcycle show, it’s more than that. The weekend camp out is more about the social aspect of motorcycling and bringing people together to share their stories, their experiences, the camaraderie and of course the motorcycles which bind them all.

It’s a very laid-back weekend of motorcycles, camping, and hanging out around a campfire out in the country. It’s all about motorcycles - veteran, vintage and classics, and their rich culture and history.

This year Shannons will be part of the 2019 Machine Show to Share the Passion, because that’s what we do at Shannons. Our team help likeminded motoring enthusiasts protect their most prized assets. We do this by talking with our customers to better understand their specific needs.

In recognition of the great stories behind every bike, Shannons have created the ‘Best Bike Yarn’ Competition at The Machine Show in 2019.  To enter visit the Shannons campfire at the Machine Show and tell us your story, not just the finished product, but the highs, the lows, the emotional rollercoaster that often comes with finding, restoring or customising old motorcycles.

These are the stories that bind the classic motorcycle community and are just as worthy of recognition as the best or most original bike on display.

The winner, selected by the Shannons judges on Saturday, will win a Custom-made Fire Globe featuring unique artwork especially made for The Machine Show valued at $2,150.
