Shannons and Gangsta Wraps join forces to produce a tribute to Jim Richards

Jim Richards competed in his last Targa in Tasmania in 2018. Jim has won the world-famous Targa Rally 8 times with his long-time friend and navigator Barry Oliver, and now in 2019, Shannons present this tribute to Jim Richards. A 1978 Porsche 911SC featuring the same livery as Jim's 2018 GT3RS that competed in the 2018 Targa Tasmania.

Shannons QLD Business Development Manager Phil Ross who owns the 911SC chose Gangsta Wraps to adapt the livery from Jim's late model GT3RS Porsche on to the older 1978 911.

The 1978 911SC will feature in many displays over the next 12 months that will include:

7 days at Grand Plaza Shopping Centre (Browns Plains) 11th to 17th Feb

3 days at “Cooly Rocks On” at the Shannons stand in Marine Parade, Coolangatta 7th to 9th June (with Jim Richards in attendance).
