Bidding is now open for the 175 lots in Shannons Timed Online Spring Auction that closes progressively from 7pm on November 18.

Amongst the standout lots in the online auction are 21 black and white numerical New South Wales and Victorian number plates; 37 classic motorcycles and scooters dating back to circa-1906; 25 ‘no reserve’ classic vehicles; three great early four-wheel-drives; two wonderful Pre-War II sporting classics; a fistful of desirable Australian Muscle Cars, a powerhouse of British and European sporting vehicles, headed by seven BMWs, four Porsches, two Jaguar E-types and a superbly-restored 1971 Ferrari 365GTC/4, plus 48 lots of fascinating automotive memorabilia.

Austin
This 1955 Austin-Healey 100/4 BN1 roadster with room for refurbishment is slated to sell for $35,000-$45,000

Highlights of the auction are:

- Seven three-digit Victorian black and white Heritage from ‘477’;

- A fabulous assembly of six rare veteran and vintage motorcycles with build dates ranging from circa-1907 to circa-1925 from noted Victorian collector and enthusiast Warren Hicks, including a c1907 Zenith Bi-Car in project condition;

- Eight very collectable Ducati motorcycles spanning 37 years, including a stunning limited edition 2008 Ducati Desmosedici RR, a 1997 Ducati 916 Senna II with ‘delivery kilometres’ only and a 1986 Ducati Mike Hailwood 1,000cc replica ‘Mille’;

This rare and collectible 1972 BMW 3.0CS Coupe in ‘project condition’ is expected to sell with ‘no reserve’ for $25,000-$35,000.

This fully-restored LX Torana SL/R5000 A9X in the unique colour of Dynasty Gold metallic is expected to sell in the $180,000-$220,000 range.

This rare c1932 chain-drive Fraser Nash Ulster is expected to sell for $150,000-$180,000.

- A two-owner, left-hand drive 1979 Porsche 930 Turbo 3.3 Coupe

- A highly desirable 1965 Jaguar E-Type 4.2 Series 1 Coupe in its striking original colour

- An ultra-desirable V12-engined 1971 Ferrari 365 GTC/4 Coupe, believed to be one of the world’s best, fresh from a Concours-standard restoration.
 

Note: All NSW-based lots can be viewed from November 2 at the new Shannons Sydney showroom at 22 Lambs Road, Artarmon. The Melbourne Showroom has also re-opened for viewing. Both showrooms are now open from 10am-4pm, Monday-Saturday.
