Terribly British Day to feature Classic XK Jaguars

The 2016 Terribly British Day vehicle display will feature around 25 iconic Jaguar XK120, XK 140 and XK150 sports cars.
Many of these late 1940s to early 1960s vehicles will be travelling from interstate to form the spotlight display in the Treasury Car Park on Sunday 4 December 2016.
They will join more than 350 other British marques on the day with every make from Austin to Zephyr represented.
Terribly British Day chairman, Paul Sutton, said the TBD celebrates its 41st year this year, making it one of the oldest car displays in Canberra.
It attracts British cars from Sydney, Melbourne, the South Coast, Goulburn, Yass, Cooma, Cootamundra, Young, the Southern Highlands and Forbes, Mr Sutton said.
Tuggeranong Mens Shed will be the beneficiary of any fund raising at the gate, he said.
The XK Jaguars celebrate their 68th year of introduction with nearly all the 13 models on display including Open, Drop-head and Fixed-head Coupes. The display is open to the public from 10.00am to 3.00pm.
Terribly British day is supported by Shannons Insurance, NRMA Veteran, Vintage and Classic Insurance, Lennock Land Rover Jaguar Motors and the Council of ACT Motor Clubs.
