Shannons Insurance & Tas Vacations brings to the motoring enthusiast the Shannons Targa Classic Rallye 2021, the best way to experience one of the world's most unique destinations and the ultimate Targa Rallye- Targa Tasmania.

You will mix with Targa Tasmania competitors at the official start and finish of the event, leading the field in your classic car at selected stages throughout, in front of hundreds of adoring spectators.

The Shannons Targa Classic Rallye is a non- competitive touring event that combines the best of Tasmania with an inside view of the competitive components of Targa Tasmania.

This magnificant 9 day Classic Rallye will guide you through Tasmania's natural wonders & quaintest of towns via some of Targa Tasmania's signature Rallye stages. You will stop along the way to marvel at Tasmania's great history, breathtaking scenery & indulge in the best of the states award-winning food & wine.

To qualify, generally the car you bring on this classic rallye should be at least 30 years of age or eligible for historic registration in your state of origin, be in above average condition & capable of cruising easily at 90kms per hour for the duration of the Rallye. Limited places are alos available for more modern classic vehicles, however these spaces are limited based on the final numbers and vehicle allocation.
