The Chrome Bar Bonanza at Lakeside Park is open to all vehicles originally built with chrome bars. It doesnt matter if they have been removed or painted over! With over three hours of cruising throughout the day, Show n Shine, 1/8th mile drags and entertainment its a great day out! Chrome Bar Bonanza #1 and #2 will be run this year,

Vehicle Qualification
As the name suggests all vehicles originally built with chrome bars are able to participate in the Chrome Bar Bonanza days at Lakeside Park. If yours doesnt qualify check out the the other theme day events. All Asian, Euro, All Aussie
All vehicles need to be clean and presentable. Lakeside Park operate on a first in first served policy. There is no pre-entry for display cars, unless you have booked a VIP package!
Cruise Sessions
There will be approx 10 cruise sessions throughout the day with a maximum of 100 cars on the track at any one time. The cruises are $10 each and 20 mins long. You can choose to participate in as many of them as you like!
Cruise Session Tickets can be purchased at the white container on the day, where you will need to sign an indemnity booklet. No tickets can be pre-purchased. A drivers Briefing is also compulsory on the day. Make sure to get your armband! Without it, you will not be allowed on track.
If you have purchased a VIP package you will also get 2 cruises just for you and the other VIP holders! Look out for the schedule to find out your VIP cruise session times.
Anybody can participate in any of the 10 cruise sessions on the day following the below rules:
All drivers must have a current drivers license, and be 18yrs or older (no learners permits)
All vehicles must not exceed 95DB
Enclosed footwear is required
NO STATIC or FOOT-ON BURNOUTS ALLOWED
A 10km per hour pit lane speed limit must be observed
Zero Blood Alcohol for Driver amd passengers
Seat belts must be worn by each person, if the car is fitted with them
Drivers to attend the briefing session held at 8.30am on the day
No getting out of the car whilst on track
No vehicles over the 3 tonne track weight limit

Pre-book yourself a VIP package for $120 and you will get your own covered pit bay, two (2) exclusive VIP cruise sessions & exclusive VIP track entry, gate entry for four (4) people, and entry into the Show n Shine!

Track Challenge
The Track Challenge is an 1/8th Mile Drag Challenge, costs $50 to enter and entries are limited to the first 40 received You can pre-enter through RACERS or you can take your chance and enter on the day at the Control Tower when you arrive if places are still available.
Trophies will be awarded for the last three (3) standing in eliminators. Presentations to be held at the same time as Show n Shine trophies (Please see schedule when released)
NO PASSENGERS are allowed during this competitive event.
