Shannons will be back at "Classic Weekend" at Connondale next year....2021
The Conondale Classic Weekend is a gathering of vintage motorcycle enthusiasts, bikes, historical culture and of course riding, centred at the iconic Conondale Green Park on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.
Happening over the Queens Birthday weekend, Friday 5th to Sunday 7th June 2020, the three day Classic Weekend celebrates vintage offroad bikes and everything we love about it!
An expected 500 riders and over 1000 spectators, crew and industry coming to the Conondale Classic Weekend to enjoy non-competitive riding on two MX tracks Pre-78 and Open Pre-95, a vinduro loop, trials area and popular grass track for riding Saturday and Sunday.
We invite all vintage motorbike riders, supporters and two-wheel fans to get involved with the huge line up of riding, workshops, trade village, historical exhibitions, sponsor activations and entertainment all weekend.
Long time Conondale rider and legend of offroad riding, Geoff Ballard said "I've ridden Conondale since the early 1980s, rolling into Green Park always created an exciting feeling because it's an amazing location for both MX and enduro riding in the Sunshine Coast region. My favourite memories from back in the day were riding a Maico GS490 in the early 80s enduros, plus the 1988 4-day tests at Green Park were fantastic."
