Weekend Run Down HT Holden 50 Year Anniversary Friday 6pm – 9pm Entrant Registration / Meet & Greet Event Meet and greet at Aussie World Theme Park where after entrants have registered for the event and collected their goodie bags they can catch up with other entrants inside the relaxed environment of Aussie World. Finger food will be provided along with a cash bar and for two hours from 6:30 – 8:30pm the rides will be operating free of charge for plenty of family fun! Saturday Part 1 - 8am – 1pm Show ‘n’ Shine / Swap Meet Event The Show ‘n’ Shine will be held just outside of Beerwah on Saturday morning with entrant cars to arrive between 8am and 8:45am. All cars must be parked up by 9am when the show opens to spectators. There will be food vendors present along with kids amusements and a swap meet to check out. At 1pm, we will be forming into a cruise procession, led by all the HT’s when we leave the Show ‘n’ Shine grounds and head to our first driving event of the weekend. Part 2 - 2pm – late Driving Event #1 - Dirt Mayhem The entrant cars will cruise from Beerwah to Mount Archer via Peachester and Woodford for the Dirt Mayhem driving event at Archerfalls Airfield. Here it’s time for some fun in the dirt! *Dirt Drags *Spear-a-spud *Go to Whoa - Just as much fun to watch as it will be out on the track! Come nightfall we will be kicking on into the night with a BBQ for entrants and live entertainment. There will be refreshments available for purchase during the afternoon and a cash bar operating late into the night. Camping on-site here at Mount Archer is available for just $5 per head. Sunday Part 1 - 9:30 – 2:30pm Hinterland to the Beach Mystery Cruise Sunday Morning we start the day with an ‘at your leisure’ mystery cruise which will start from the carpark of the famous Big Pineapple and lead you on an adventure through the Sunshine Coast Hinterland back to the Sunshine Coast Beaches with activities and fun challenges along the way to keep the whole family involved! Take your time, this one’s no race, enjoy a day out on the roads with other K-T-G Holdens exploring the wonderful countryside the Sunshine Coast has to offer! Part 2 6pm – late 1969 Themed Presentation Dinner After a few hours freshening up it’s time to get dressed up to the theme of 1969! Dust off those flared jeans, tie-dyed shirts and fedora hats it’s time to go back in time to the era your car was sold and get ready to party….1969 style!! Tonight we’re going back to Aussie World to The Shed where entrants will have a 2 course dinner, a cash bar will also be operating. All the trophy presentations will take place along with other 1969 themed entertainment, dancing and fun! Monday Driving Event #2 Hot Laps and Lunch at Lakeside Raceway The last day is all about the Grand Champion award! Entrants will meet at the Aussie World carpark 9am for a cruise down the Bruce Highway to Lakeside International Raceway where they will split us into groups for Hot Lap sessions around the famous old Queensland Race Track. This is our 2nd driving event of the weekend. Entrants will also enjoy a Burger & Chips menu for lunch.
