Owned since 2005 when it was a painted shell that had everything pulled off, I spent two and a half years piecing it back together and upgrading the engine, then obtaining full rego. After some time the wiring was hidden in the engine bay, the battery moved to the boot and thermo fans installed by an autoelectrician. Some time later I wanted to upgrade the gearbox and that led to another couple of years off the road as it meant I pulled the engine out, took the engine back to bare metal and sprayed it black. Once that was done the motor and box went back in but it left the interior requiring some work so for the past year I have been improving the interior to look like how it came from factory. I will be receiving my seats back from the upholsterers soon then it will be well and truly time for a cruise.
