History
I purchased this car off eBay from a gentleman whose balance between fact and fiction is somewhat out of kilter.
The listing said it had been resprayed and was in immaculate condition, possibly when he first bought it many years previously. When I first saw it I had my blinkers on and overlooked the obvious flaws and potential problems.
But, the car did and does have a heap of potential.
It has a classic flowing body style with no add-ons to break the lines, finished off in a Colorado Red paint job that emphasises the cars inherent beauty.
With a free revving three litre non-turbo V6 running through a single large exhaust that screams when the accelerator is pushed, it brings a joy to my driving that I have not felt in many a year.
I plan to slowly replace some of the worst of the previous modifications and bring it back to its' original idea of a gentleman's cruiser, not a boy racers fantasy.
Modifications
Still working these out, a few I don't know about, others are obvious.
It is an imported Jspec car.
Air cleaner, exhaust, suspension, lighting, body, seats, wide wheels/tyres etc.
Have replaced the Recaro seats and non-std wheels with stock items off a spare car I bought. Also manage to swap a few interior plastic bits.
Getting closer to original all the time.
