The Jaguar XJ-C is regarded by many aficionados as even more beautiful than the four-door saloon from which it derived. Despite this, for very many years these unique coupes commanded only a small premium. More recently, the world of automotive collectors has come to understand their beauty, rarity and their significance within Jaguar’s chequered history. The XJ-C was only offered alongside the Series 2 version of the XJ saloon – total numbers produced were low and the survival rate has not been high.
