Description
In 1960 American Motorcycle manufacturer Harley Davidson and the Italian Aermacchi (previously named Aeronautica Macchi), form AERMACCHI HARLEY DAVIDSON for production of light motorcycles in Italy. In 1973 the brand becomes AMF-HD, when the American Machine Foundry took the place of Aermacchi The SX350 was a single cylinder two stroke road trail machine produced by AMF and sold well competing against the Japanese equivalents of the day as off road riding was gaining huge popularity, a 175cc and 250cc variant was also produced. Production stoped in 1978 when Harley Davidson decides to abandon the Italian production. These small two stroke motor cycles are gaining in collectable status as they form another part of Harley Davidson's long and rich History.
