1967 Ford Mustang Coupe (RHD)

Description

Ford revamped the Mustang in 1967 in response to a new generation of Ponycars like Chevrolet's Camaro, Pontiac's Firebird and the Mercury Cougar. Longer, wider and with substantially more room inside, the new Mustang's styling was evolutionary rather than revolutionary - as the original Mustang had been such an incredible hit, Ford had little reason to change the winning formula. The interior was one area that did come in for some reworking, with redesigned bucket seats, a sports steering wheel and loop-pile carpeting all standard equipment. Dual hydraulic brakes and revamped front suspension were the only other significant changes under the skin.
