This is an iconic symbol of Britain. This item was originally commissioned in the UK to commemorate the Silver Jubilee of King George V. and was designed by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott. The Jubilee Kiosk (K6) appeared on the streets of the UK in 1936 and became the first standard kiosk to be introduced nation wide. It is recognised as the iconic symbol of Britain and protected by the Department of Environment and British Heritage.
