Nash Motors was started by former General Motors President Charles Nash in 1916, building his first car the following year and by the First World War was building more trucks in the USA than any other manufacturer. Nash continued expanding through the 1920s and their slogan was ?Give the customer more than he has paid for?, a philosophy the company continued to adhere to into the early1930s. The 1934 Nash model line-up consisted of the Big Six, the Advanced Eight and Ambassador Eight. The Big Six came in six catalogued body styles, including the 1220 Five-Passenger Sedan offered here, with a list price set at $785. The Big Six also saw the return of an overhead-valve twin ignition six-cylinder engine in the model range for 1934, replacing the flathead eight.
