Ford continued to refine and 'Australianise' its new Falcon family car in the early 1960s, with around 1,500 modifications made with the launch of the XM.
The most interesting variant for many people was the two-door coupe, which mainly used imported body parts and many custom car enthusiasts in recent years have seen it as the perfect basis for a Ford Falcon Convertible.
