By the mid-1920s Buick were riding high, with impressive sales figures and a loyal following and for 1925 the range was simplified with move to exclusively employ six-cylinder engines - as a result, just two models, the Standard 6 and Master 6, were offered.

The Standard 6 was powered by a new 191-cid engine developing 50bhp at 2800rpm with a three-speed sliding gear transmission riding on a wheelbase increased to 114.3-inches. Four-wheel braking had been adopted by Buick in 1924 but further innovations for 1925 included vacuum-operated windscreen wipers in place of the hand-operated items on earlier Buicks.

No less than nine different models were offered within the Standard 6 line-up, ranging from the roadster, tourer, coupe and sedans. Total Buick production for the 1925 model year was 157,071 plus an additional 9,412 built for export to markets like England and Australia.
