1986 Holden Commodore VK Group A Group 3 sedan
This ultra-rare 1986 Holden Commodore VK Group A Group 3 sedan could bring $150,000-$170,000 at Shannons Melbourne Summer Auction on Monday (November 23).

Regarded by many as the most desirable Brock Commodore of all, the HDT VK was initially launched on 28 August 1984 in two versions – the SS and Group 3 – with the ultimate Group A model arriving in March 1985.

The incredibly low kilometre Group 3 being auctioned is one of only 48 Group A 'Blue Meanies' officially upgraded to Group 3 specification by Peter Brock, of which only 22 are still thought to now exist.

Offered from a private collector who purchased the car new in 1985, the Commodore has not been restored and remains in untouched, time-warp condition, with just 5,381km on is odometer at the time of cataloguing.

Never driven in the rain and currently registered in Victoria, this well documented car comes with the original owner's manual and HDT build sheet, making it arguably one of the finest example of the most desirable road-going Brock Commodore ever made – particularly with the 10th anniversary of Brock’s death being marked in 2016.

1967 XR Falcon GT Sedan
This mint condition restored 1967 XR Falcon GT Sedan is expected to sell in the $100,000-$120,000 range at Shannons Melbourne Summer Auction on Monday (November 23).

Very desirable for Ford fanciers is a 1967 XR Falcon GT Sedan that has been professionally restored and is offered in mint condition.

Bare metal refinished in the model’s GT Gold paintwork by Stylerod Panels between 2008-2009, the Falcon’s level of authenticity is impressive, from the beautifully detailed engine bay to its immaculate boot, with Shannons expecting it to sell to a muscle car collector for $100,000-$120,000.

1973 XA GT Sedan
This 1973 XA GT Sedan that was restored professionally at a cost exceeding $100,000 is expected to bring $80,000-$95,000 at Shannons Melbourne Summer Auction on Monday (November 23).

Almost as desirable to Falcon GT enthusiasts in the auction is a 1973 XA GT Sedan that is being offered with receipts for its recent professional restoration totalling in excess of $100,000. Shannons expect this award-winning XA GT to bring $80,000-$95,000.

1970 model LC Torana XU-1
This two owner from new 1970 model LC Torana XU-1 with a competition history is expected to sell in the $80,000-$90,000 range at Shannons Melbourne Summer Auction on Monday (November 23).

Holden Muscle Car collectors have the chance to purchase a mostly-restored, two owner from new 1970 model LC Torana XU-1 that won the Touring Car class in the 1978 Australian Hillclimb Championships at South Australia’s Collingrove in the hands of its then owner, Kevin Freeman.

Shannons expect the ‘Rally Red’ XU-1 to sell in the $80,000-$90,000 range on Monday.
