WHEN we drove the new Ford Mustang GT at its global launch in Los Angeles, it was hard to imagine how its combination of drop-dead good looks, raw V8 engine and lively handling could be made any better.

But as with its forefathers, Ford was already planning to do exactly that. So, in addition to the efficient but potent EcoBoost, affordable V6 and classic GT V8, Ford is adding another variant to the US Mustang line-up.

With the Mustang Shelby GT350 Ford has taken an already exceptionally good muscle car and sent it back to the gym, with almost every area of the 2015 Mustang dusted with Shelby magic.
