The Australian land speed record team, Aussie Invader 5R, has launched a unique website that allows you to upload a selfie of yourself onto the supersonic rocket car, as it attempts to break the current record of 763mph. The team have challenged themselves to reach 1000mph, and for a small donation, you too can be involved in the challenge.

The all volunteer Aussie Invader 5R team, lead by Rosco McGlashan OAM wants this Australian land speed record attempt to be a people’s challenge and SuperSonicSelfie is a way for everyone to be part of this great adventure.

For as little as $20 AUD the website http://www.supersonicselfie.com allows you too quickly and easily upload a selfie of yourself onto the car alongside Mark Webbers selfie, and into history. Follow the team and your own selfie through the sound barrier, right to the record and into history.
