Get more with the new look Shannons Club website
Adding, viewing and managing photos in the Shannons Club is now even easier with the launch of the new photo uploader. The improved uploader gives you more control over how your photos are displayed and viewed on the club. The new features include:
New Edit Functionality
When uploading photos, you will now have the following edit options:
> Zoom In
> Zoom Out
> Rotate Left
> Rotate Right
> Flip Horizontally
> Flip Vertically
These edit features can be clicked multiple times to achieve the desired result.
Cropping Guides
A green keyline and grid lines will appear over your photo within the edit screen. This will help you present your images in the best possible way. Use the edit functions to ensure your photo fits the green box or the area of the picture you’d like to feature fits the green box. This will ensure your photo appears correctly on the Shannons Club.
Re-order your photos
Once you have uploaded your images, you can now simply drag and drop them into the order you like before you save them. Or to change the order of photos already uploaded simply choose the edit function.
Add comments and descriptions on each photo
You can now add descriptions and comments on each individual photo in a group of photos. Great for describing your restoration projects step by step!
Photo Albums
Vehicle Albums
A vehicle photo album will automatically be created when you upload a vehicle to your garage with at least one photo. If you have a restoration project on the go, now you can create an album for the vehicle and share the progress photos of the project with other Shannons Club members. The albums can be viewed within My Photos or Photos on other Enthusiasts Profiles.
Within Events and Car Clubs you can create albums by clicking the [camera icon Add +] located on the “Got something to say” comment field. If you’ve taken some great photos at your local car club event, now you can now create an album of the event and share it with other motoring enthusiasts.
Use your Mobile and Tablet to upload photos
All new photo uploader features are now available on you mobile and tablet devices too, making it easy to directly upload photos taken on your mobile or tablet.
Dashboard Album Feed
The dashboard now includes a new Albums feed which displays the latest Photo Albums uploaded or updated by all enthusiasts.
The new photo uploader has lots of great new functions to make sure your vehicle photos are displayed exactly as you like them. Look out for the new "edit icons" on photos as you upload them and there’s now an “edit” link at the base of the photos already uploaded.
