Aragon was transformed into Lorenzo’s land yesterday after his flawless victory at the Spanish circuit. What a race it turned out to be with Lorenzo shooting off from the start with impeccable start to take the lead into the first corner. His target was set and that was to be ahead of the pack. Rossi on the other hand was battling Pedrosa like it was the race of his life. It was a very unfortunate start for Marc Marquez who dominated a lot of the practice sessions with Jorge Lorenzo prior to the start of the race. On lap two, Marquez lost the front end at turn 12 and went down straight into the kitty litter. This year has not been picture perfect for Marc with his season hot and cold. It the eyes of Marquez “when a season is not going well for you, then nothing goes your way” and this season he is finding things a lot more challenging than previously. With four races to go before the season is over, Marc is aiming high, as he wants to win more and finish off 2015 with a bang!

Ride of the day goes to Dani Pedrosa. His riding ability was at its best yesterday and his hunger, aggressive style and calculated decisions allowed him to beat Valentino Rossi after the Doctor tried to psych him out. This is very important for the Championship as Rossi’s lead is cut to fourteen points. Dani stopped Rossi from obtaining an additional four points to make it eighteen, which made Lorenzo very happy! Dani was flawless is closing the door on Valentino and making sure that every time he got through he chomped right back. Repsol Honda would be very proud to see his performance shine through. Without a doubt, Jorge Lorenzo is on a mission and has seen the fire within his belly reignite. The positive energy and his strong mindset are ready for the next set of flyaway races in Japan, Australia and Malaysia. Anything can happen in MotoGP!

In the Moto2 class, Johann Zarco, finished behind Tito Rabat and Alex Rins, which means that the title bid goes to Japan. Zarco did not look as comfortable as his previous races whilst Tito Rabat was stronger than ever this season. Tito did well to stay ahead of Alex Rins considering the race was initially red flagged due to a nasty accident on the first lap involving Xavier Simeon and Dominique Aegerter. Both riders are doing well though Dominique is receiving treatment after suffering small fractures to his spine, wrist and complaining about pain in his ankle. He will be going to Switzerland on Monday by REGA. The recovery process will be very important and the timing of his return unconfirmed. We wish Aegerter all the best in getting back to full strength.

In the Moto3 class, the unexpected took place on the last lap! With a large pack of riders all going for the win, Enea Bastianini crashed into the back of Brad Binder which was a sign of relief for Danny Kent who then on the last corner on the last lap lost the front end and high sided leaving him without any Championship points. It was a disaster for the two title contenders both crashing out. Portuguese rider Miguel Oliveira won in style followed by Jorge Navarro whom obtained his first podium finish in the class and Romano Fenati in third. Overall, it was a superb race filled with excitement, highs, lows and never ending rivalry. Australian riders Remy Gardner and Jack Miller both finished their races in nineteenth position.
