American Classics Tour winners return after trip of a lifetime
Jenny and Phil of NSW have recently returned from their 12 day Shannons American Classics Tour and were hard pressed to pick a highlight because there were so many!
Jenny had never travelled to New York and absolutely loved it. ”The accommodation was fabulous, the hotel staff couldn’t do enough to help us”. While for Phil it was definitely Detroit, “The Woodward Avenue Dream Cruise was amazing - so many great classic cars and museums everywhere”.
They were lucky enough to catch up with Fletch from ‘Classic Restos’ (Shannons sponsor the popular motoring enthusiast TV show) and joined him to tour through some of the best automotive displays in Detroit including the invitation only GM Heritage Centre.
Jenny said “The trip has been amazing, planned down to the last detail, making the most of every opportunity while we were there. Thanks so much to Shannons for offering such a great prize”.
As part of the Shannons American Classics Tour the winners also were lucky enough to take delivery of the final piece of their prize - a 2014 Indian Chief Classic Motorcycle. Phil said “This beautiful Indian motorcycle just tops it all off, thanks again”.
